Youth

  • Youth Gatherings

Part of investing in our Youth is providing opportunities for them to build peer relationships as well as relationships with our Youth volunteers. Our Youth volunteers are committed to coming alongside the families in our Parish to help Youth grow in their relationship with Christ.

  • Participation & Service

Youth are an active part of Sunday worship services and Parish events throughout the year. Youth are invited to participate on Sundays in various ways including reading Scripture, volunteering in the Nursery and Children’s Chapel, Hospitality, among other roles. Youth are also encouraged to participate in missional service opportunities we engage in as a Parish.

  • Family Formation

The family of origin is a primary source of community and learning for children. We believe children and youth are formed as a part of their family system and we offer opportunities for families to grow together in faith. Catechizing families and helping equip parents and children is paramount to the spiritual lives of our youngest disciples.

  • Youth Confirmation

Youth ages 13 and up are invited to participate in a 6 month confirmation class led by our Rector Rev. Collin Setterberg that invites them more deeply into their lives of faith in Christ and into the life of the church. This is a rich opportunity for youth to encounter Christ in prayer, study, and fellowship.

  • Youth Volunteers/Mentors

Relationships are at the heart of transformation. Jesus met with his disciples in small groups, in the context of community. Our young adult volunteers are committed to coming alongside our youth to invest in their faith development and encourage them to follow Christ and trust him with all areas of their lives.
